This free iPhone application runs natively in your non-jail broken iPhone or iPod Touch. It lets you create, edit, download and upload text documents while you’re on the go. The Mobile Web Docs app gives you the ability to organize documents you create on your iPhone or iPod Touch in folders and upload them on to other mobile accounts online. Using Mobile Web Docs you can also bookmark all of the online locations you chose to store your documents.
Mobile Web Docs is a free iPhone app and while it’s great with text documents, it doesn’t have any features for pictures or adding images. A neat feature of Mobile Web Docs is the small desktop it creates right in your iPhone where you document folders and files are kept in a nice little GUI (graphic) interface.
You can also flip your iPhone or iPod Touch horizontal and do landscape editing which gives your thumbs more room to type easily. The app stays free although as you use it there will be the occasional ad here and there. It’s not too cumbersome or intrusive at the moment and Mobile Web Docs is still a great app to have, especially if you want to write for a website or blog from the road.
Mobile Web Docs plays nicely with Google Docs, and other online text editors and is a nice option to the iPhone’s integrated notebook. Mobile Web Docs is how any good app should be – easy to use, straightforward, and perform its functions with ease.
