Although the Travelocity TravelTools app does let you also search for nearby hotels, it’s really done better with another free iPhone application you can use to browse and search hotels with, HotelPal.
The Travelocity TravelTools app has accurate information about TSA security line wait times, if you happen to be traveling in the US, and book flights directly from your iPhone. It’s a bit tricky to navigate but this free iPhone app can be a pretty powerful tool once you get the hang of it. You can also look up hotel reviews, get information about the tourist attractions at your next destination, and get special deals. The Travelocity TravelTools apps gives you access to all of Travelocity’s promotions and sales like the current 20% off you next flight offer. Of course if you can always make your reservations online and just track them using the app.
