The app enables you to filter wi-fi hotspots into categories of free and paid, provider, and location type. Wi-Fi Finder boasts having the largest directory of free and paid wi-fi hotspots, with over 280,000 locations in 140 countries allowing you to save money on calling costs by using the Skype iPhone app.
Once you find a wi-fi hotspot nearby using the app, its details are provided for you and you can call the location to get directions, or add it to your list of favorites. Or, if you are planning on being without internet access on your phone, you can download the entire wi-fi hotspot directory to reference when you are not connected to the internet. This directory is updated every week, meaning it is always accurate.
